Pre-Owned Partscaster B-Bender Natural With Case

Pre-Owned Partscaster B-Bender Natural With Case

Used And Vintage Electric Guitars

For those who want a little extra bending in their life, time to check out this super cool Partscaster.  Assembled here at Truetone for a customer in 2016, this guitar is much more than the sum of its parts.  It's a soulful soul machine that is unlike pretty much anything else you've seen.  Form, functionality and looks - this one is a winner.  And truly unique.

It starts with a Rick Tuner body made of spruce, custom bound by Paul Flynn here at Truetone.  It's lightweight, with the whole guitar coming in at 7.1 lbs.   You don't see many spruce body T-type guitars.  It's a shame, as spruce is highly resonant and brings crispness to the tone.  Naturally articulate, spruce brings high-end clarity and incredible sustain, perfect for a guitar like this.  It's matched with a Fender-authorized Warmoth neck that has a very slim C profile, measuring .803- .832" (with a nut width of just 1.595").  This is an easy to play guitar and you can bend to your heart's content thanks to the 9.5" radius.

Speaking of bending, this guitar has been outfitted with a great B-Bender system.   Originally conceived in 1968 by Gene Parsons and Clarence White to mimic the sound of a pedal steel, a variety of players have found great uses for it since.  The B-Bender allows you to bend the pitch of the B-string up by a whole step, activated by pressing down on the guitar's neck.  This pulls the strap and engages a spring-loaded lever system.  Sounds you would never be able to produce are now at your fingertips.

For pickups, this guitar is loaded with a Fender Gen 1 Noiseless Tele pickup in the bridge position and a Warmoth neck pickup.  Plugged in, it sounds amazing.

We haven't seen many guitars like this....actually, we never have, as it's the only one in existence exactly like it!  Setup to play perfect by the techs in our shop, it's ready to go.  A nice hardshell case is included.
