Veillette Guitars are crafted by Joe Veillette, Ande Chase, and Jimmy Eppard in Woodstock, NY: a collective of players and performers with a shared vision of what instruments should accomplish. While they prize high-quality constructions, elite materials, and fine designs, these elements are secondary to the music-making goals they strive to meet. At Veillette Guitars, they create tools for musicians.

Baritone 6 and 12-string guitars have long been a Veillette specialty. The deep body and and new Oval Soundhole  works very well to let the lower frequencies speak clearly. The scale lengths (27.6" for Baritone 6 and 26.1" for Baritone 12) are optimally matched to the custom-designed string set. In conjunction with the use of a zero-fret, mahogany back, sides and neck, ebony bridge and fingerboard, the result is flawless intonation and playability that rivals most standard-tuned guitars.

Brand new from Veillette acoustics on this model is the oval soundhole, particularly favoring Baritone guitar construction. 

Informed by years of experiments and refinements, Veillette's Baritone guitars are designed from the ground up to be a fully independent and equally useful counterpart to the standard-tuned guitar — every detail, from intonation and string tension, scale length, and body construction, has been fine-tuned to work in concert, producing a deeply satisfying and inviting guitar.
